Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has directed officials to accelerate urban development work across Chhattisgarh and ensure citizens receive quality basic services such as clean drinking water, sanitation, better roads, street lighting, and convenient public transport in a time-bound manner. Reviewing the Urban Administration and Development Department at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan on September 8, the Chief Minister directed that pending AMRUT Mission works be completed in mission mode to ensure 100 per cent drinking water supply, expedite construction of Nalanda Campuses, and place greater emphasis on cleanliness and scientific waste management. He also reviewed preparations for operating 240 e-buses in Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg and Korba and the establishment of CBG plants worth around Rs 800 crore in eight urban local bodies.
