Ajit Pawar wishes people on Ganesh Chaturthi

Mumbai (Thestates.news)|  Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Tuesday paid his respects at the feet of Sukhkarta, Vighnaharta Lord Ganesha and extended devotional wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and 10-days long Ganeshotsav. In his press statement , Mr Pawar stated that, with the arrival of Shriganaraya, there will be abundance of wealth in the household and expressed the belief that an atmosphere of happiness, enthusiasm, devotion and vitality will be created in the society.

Mr Pawar has also appealed that Ganeshotsav, which is celebrated in a devotional atmosphere, should be celebrated in an environment-friendly manner while taking care of nature. Lord Ganesha Chaturthi festival, public Ganeshotsav has got a glorious tradition of social unity, social awareness, patriotism. While increasing this tradition, citizens should celebrate Ganeshotsav with everyone in the society. Shri Ganapati Bappa means God of Wisdom and we all are devotees of ‘Ganaraya’.

Therefore, Ganapati Bappa’s festival should be celebrated in the same manner. Ajit Pawar also said ,”everyone in the family, relations, friends and society should forget their differences and come together and celebrate Ganeshotsav in a joyful and devotional atmosphere with all the elements of the society.” (UNI)
