Amit Shah praises Modi for digital India programme

New Delhi,( thestates.news): Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, according to Home Minister Amit Shah, is for every Indian to be empowered through technology and the internet. Empowerment and positive changes have occurred in our lives as a result of the Digital India programme, he said at the National Conference on Cyber Safety and National Security in Delhi. India is progressing in all areas, according to the Home Minister, thanks to Prime Minister Modi’s initiative. The use of technology has been elevated to new heights. This strength, however, can become a huge challenge for us if cyber security is not ensured, Shah added.

We all know how important the building of a cyber secure India is for the development of the nation, Shah said, asserting that India’s development in the modern era cannot be achieved without cyber security. If one imagines a cyber-secure India, public awareness is the most important foundation. Technocrats can research security facilities all they want, but if people aren’t aware of them, they won’t be used, he said in his speech at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

The conference, organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), is part of the country’s efforts to raise public awareness about cybercrime prevention. The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, which is run by the Ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, is currently on the run.(HS)
