Workers raised the slogan “Maan Badhaya Apne Apka Aabhar, Chhattisgarh Sarkar Bharose ki Sarkar” to show their gratitude
Raipur (thestates.news)| The Science College Ground was a joyous sight today as Anganwadi workers from all corners of the state gathered to celebrate their contributions towards improving healthcare and education in rural areas. These workers, including assistants and mitanins, expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and chanted the slogan “Maan Badhaya Apne Apka Aabhar, Chhattisgarh Sarkar Bharose ki Sarkar” to show their appreciation for the increased honorarium.
Ms. Sadhna Dewangan, an Anganwadi worker, shared that previously, workers would only receive a certificate upon retirement, but the government now provides Rs. 50,000 to the Anganwadi worker and Rs. 25,000 to the helpers. Mrs. Prabha Kuthare, an Anganwadi worker for 22 years, expressed her difficulties in making ends meet with an inadequate honorarium. She is now happy that the Chief Minister has increased their honorarium and improved their economic condition.
