Mumbai, (thestates.news): Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday cleared Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in its chargesheet. In the high-profile Cardilia Cruz drugs case, remaining 14 accused name in the charge-sheet and will be prosecuted. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) DDG (Operations) Sanjay Kumar said that a 10,000 page charge-sheet has been filed in the NDPS court on Friday in the Cardilia Cruz drugs case. With the chargesheet NCB stated that no evidence was found in the investigation against Aryan Khan, Avin Sahu, Gopal Ji Anand, Sameer Saighan, Bhaskar Arora, Manav Singhal, all these 6 people have been given clean chit.
On October 3, 2021, 20 people, including Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and Moonmoon Dhamecha were arrested by the NCB during a raid on Cardilia Cruises party. Bombay High Court on October 28 had granted bail to Arbaaz Merchant and Moonmoon Dhamecha along with Aryan after finding no evidence. The NCB had time till April 2 to file the charge-sheet in the case but the investigation was stalled due to the allegations against the NCB.Sameer Wankhede, the then head of NCB’s Mumbai Division, was transferred. Therefore, the special committee of the NCB probing the case, had filed an application in late March in the Bombay Sessions Court seeking extension of 90 days for filing the chargesheet. The court had given 60 days to NCB. NCB has filed a charge sheet of 10,000 pages on Friday. (H.S)
