Average Rainfall of 1007.3 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh

Raipur (thestates.news) |According to the information compiled by the State-Level Control Room set up by State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, an average rainfall of 1007.3 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2022. The highest average rainfall of 1949.0 mm has been recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 452.7 mm in Surguja district.

Likewise, the average rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01 to August 30 is as follows- Surajpur 721.2 mm, Balrampur 680.3 mm, Jashpur 738.1 mm, Koriya 678.6 mm, Raipur 758.8 mm, Balodabazar 1002.6 mm, Gariaband 1059.9 mm, 1020.1 mm in Mahasamund, 100.4 mm in Dhamtari, 1183.9 mm in Bilaspur, 1110.6 mm in Mungeli, 962.9 mm in Raigarh, 1156.2 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 907.2 mm in Korba, 852.2 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 856.5 mm in Durg , Kabeerdham 943.2 mm, Rajnandgaon 990.1 mm, Balod 1092.6 mm, Bemetara 613.2 mm, Bastar 1390.7 mm, Kondagaon 1114.9 mm, Kanker 1304.4 mm, Narayanpur 1150.2 mm, Dantewada 1416.9 mm and Sukma 1018.3 mm.
