Average Rainfall of 620.4 mm recorded in Chhattisgarh so far

Raipur (thestates.news) |In accordance with the information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, the state has recorded an average rainfall of 620.4 mm since June 1, 2023. As per the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 1, 2023, to today, August 11, the highest average rainfall of 1070.1 mm was recorded in Bijapur district and the lowest average rainfall of 291.0 mm in Surguja district.

According to the information received from the state-level flood control room, since June 1, an average rainfall of 559.2 mm was recorded in the Surajpur district, 520.0 mm in Balrampur, 492.9 mm in Jashpur, 604.5 mm in Koriya, and 629.8 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.

Similarly, average rainfall of 734.8 mm in Raipur district, 628.4 mm in Balodabazar, 585.6 mm in Gariaband, 677.4 mm in Mahasamund, 624.3 mm in Dhamtari, 624.4 mm in Bilaspur, 790.2 mm in Mungeli, 686.0 mm in Raigarh, 542.5 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 501.0 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 510.1 mm in Sakti, 621.8 mm in Korba, 583.1 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, and 502.2 mm in Durg was recorded. Average rainfall of 489.6 mm in Kabirdham district, 683.1 mm in Rajnandgaon, 787.7 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 652.4 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 679.8 mm in Balod, 484.5 mm in Bemetara, 654.6 mm in Bastar, 478.7 mm in Kondagaon, 561.8 mm in Kanker, 566.2 mm in Narayanpur, 760.2 mm in Dantewada and 895.4 mm in Sukma was recorded since June 1.
