Average Rainfall of 993.7 mm Recorded in Chhattisgarh Reaches

Raipur, (Thestates.news) | According to data compiled by the State-Level Control Room under State Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Chhattisgarh has recorded an average rainfall of 993.7 mm from 1st June 2024 till now. Among the various districts, Bijapur has recorded the highest average rainfall at 2192.4 mm, while Bemetara has recorded the lowest at 509.2 mm.

As per the information received from the State-Level Flood Control Room, the following average rainfall has been recorded from 1st June until this morning, 9th September: Surguja district has received 535.2 mm, Surajpur 933.9 mm, Balrampur 1373.9 mm, Jashpur 815.8 mm, Koriya 950.4 mm, and Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur 951.7 mm.

Similarly, Raipur district recorded 799.1 mm, Balodabazar 983.8 mm, Gariaband 962.6 mm, Mahasamund 754.7 mm, Dhamtari 885.4 mm, Bilaspur 874.7 mm, Mungeli 986.2 mm, Raigarh 916.5 mm, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh 570.6 mm, Janjgir-Champa 1059.2 mm, Sakti 900.8 mm, Korba 1267.7 mm, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi 1048.2 mm, and Durg recorded 559.8 mm of average rainfall.

In Kabirdham district, the average rainfall was recorded at 775.4 mm, Rajnandgaon 912.2 mm, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki 1056.1 mm, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai 666.9 mm, Balod 981.9 mm, Bastar 1130.6 mm, Kondagaon 1025.9 mm, Kanker 1213.8 mm, Narayanpur 1277.5 mm, Dantewada 1373.8 mm, and Sukma 1544.5 mm of average rainfall from 1st June till date.
