Raipur, (thestates.news)| Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel interacted with the common people in Jarhagaon village of Mungeli district today, as part of his statewide Bhent-Mulaqat programme. In his address to the programme, he made many important announcements including the opening of a new college in village Jarhagaon of Mungeli assembly constituency. He announced that Jarhagaon will be given the status of Nagar Panchayat. On this occasion, Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhumipujan of 18 development works worth Rs 33 crore 12 lakh. This includes foundation laying of the works worth Rs 31 crore 35 lakh and inauguration of the works worth Rs one crore 67 lakh. Many public representatives including Parliamentary Secretary Mrs. Rashmi Ashish Singh, MLA Mr. Punnulal Mohle, District Panchayat President Mrs. Lekhni Chandrakar participated in the program.
