Bhilai (thestates.news) | In a significant initiative aimed at promoting the welfare, safety and empowerment of women contractual workers, the Township Services Department of Bhilai Steel Plant organised a comprehensive awareness and empowerment workshop titled ‘Nayi Chetna’ on Tuesday. The programme was held at the Township Services Department Conference Hall and focused on enhancing awareness regarding health, workplace safety, social welfare measures and legal rights.
The workshop was inaugurated by Shri A. B. Srinivas, General Manager In-Charge, Township Services Department and Corporate Social Responsibility. Addressing the participants, he commended the dedication and hard work of women contractual workers in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the Bhilai Township. He emphasised that safety must remain the foremost priority while discharging duties and urged workers to strictly adhere to prescribed safety practices.(s-pib)
