Patna,(thestates.news)| RJD supremo Lalu Prasad on Friday said BJP is scared with caste census and party is celebrating stay of Patna High Court on this exercise being carried by Bihar government from its own resources in the state. Yadav tweeted that majority of the people had been demanding for caste census and it would definitely be held. “Why BJP was scared with caste census, a demand of majority of the people,” he asked.
“Those who are against caste census, are also against equity, humanity and equality, and supporter of discrimination, poverty, unemployment, backwardness and socio economic discrimination,” RJD leader said. People had understood the sinister design of BJP that the party was against caste census, he remarked. As it is, Patna High Court on Thursday had stayed ongoing caste based census in Bihar which was to be completed by May 15. BJP had blamed Nitish Kumar government for its failures in not placing the arguments strongly in the court. BJP leaders had also alleged that intention of Nitish Kumar government was doubtful on caste census.(UNI)
