Raipur (thestates.news) | Kalinga University, Chhattisgarh, organised a resplendent felicitation ceremony to honour the exemplary performance of the meritorious students of the Higher Secondary in the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examinations 2025, on Friday, 13 th June, 2025. The event was held at Kalinga University’s Auditorium. A total of 130 students were honored during the event, and 30 students received cash prizes.
The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting. Dr Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, Kalinga
University, gave the welcome speech. The Chief Guest, Dr. Nruparaj Sahu, Registrar, Sambalpur
University, graced the felicitation ceremony with his esteemed presence. He praised the students
for their academic accomplishments with his motivational speech. The Guest of honour Dr.
Santosh Rai, a Motivational Speaker, took a motivational session emphasizing the need to abstain
from negative thinking. He opined that one should be focused on their goals. Mr. Sourabh
Banwar, Manager, Career and Corporate Resources Centre (CCRC) also took an interactive
session.
The top 10 CGBSE & CBSE Rank holders received cash prizes and a full (100%) scholarship for
any undergraduate programs at Kalinga University. Students who scored 80% or higher received
certificates and scholarships under the Kalinga University Scholarship Policy 2025.
The First Rank holders were –
1) Mr. Lakshya Malu – CBSE – Krishna Public School, Dunda – 99%
2) Mr. Akhil Sen – CGBSE – Government Higher Secondary School Kondagaon – 98.20%
Both were felicitated with a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize of Rs. 12000/- each.
The Second Rank holders were –
1) Mr. Adeeb Ur Rahman – CBSE – Krishna Public School, Dunda – 98.40%
2) Ms. Shruti Mangtani – CGBSE – Vijay English Medium School – 97.40%
Both were felicitated with a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize of Rs. 10000/- each.
The Third Rank holders were –
1) Ms. Aarchi Patel – CBSE – NH Goel World School – 98%
2) Ms. Vaishali Sahu – CGBSE SAGES Berla, District Bemetara – 97.20%
Both were felicitated with a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize of Rs. 8000/- each.
The fourth to tenth rank holders were felicitated with a certificate of appreciation and a cash
prize of Rs. 4,000 each.
During the event, students shared their experiences and success mantras with others. Parents also
shared their experiences. Parents appreciated Kalinga University’s efforts and suggested that
other universities should hold similar events to motivate the students.
