Chanderi celebrates Sri Krishna Janmashtami: CM Dr. Yadav

Sri Krishna gave us message to follow path of Dharma
Chanderi to be developed as tourist destination

Bhopal (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Sri Krishna has given mankind a message of following the path of Dharma. Chanderi, the holy city has been associated with Lord Krishna. All efforts would be made for development of this city. Chanderi will be developed as a tourist destination.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Sri Krishna Parv program organized at the new Krishi Upaj Mandi of Chanderi, Ashoknagar.Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Bhoomi pujan and dedicated development works. He distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes. The program included cultural programs based on Krishna Leelas presented by the artists of the Culture Department, Model School Chanderi, Folk Art Troupe Chanderi, and Vrindavan.District Panchayat President Shri Ajay Pratap Singh Yadav, Pichhor MLA Shri Pritam Singh Lodhi, former MLA Ashoknagar Shri Jajpal Singh Jajji, public representatives, officers, and a large number of distinguished citizens were present in the program.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is culture-oriented. He said that people of all religions working together on handlooms in Chanderi Handloom Park have made the Chanderi saree famous worldwide. Dr. Yadav said that Lord Sri Krishna taught us the importance of education at the age of 11 and gave us a lesson on karma. He said that Sanatan Dharma is amazing. He described in detail the love of Mata Yashoda and Sudama’s friendship. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we all are proud to participate in the Sri Krishna Parv program in Chanderi, the city of Shishupala.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, religious places are being developed and uplifted. The new education policy has been implemented to improve education for the first time in Madhya Pradesh in the country. Religious education has also been emphasized in the new education policy. Lessons from Lord Sri Ram and Lord Sri Krishna have also been included in the school curriculum.
