Raipur (thestates.news)| A rural woman has bought land for cultivation with the money saved from the loan waiver and the amount received from the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. The woman has named the land ‘Mukhyamantri Bahara’ which means ‘Chief Minister Farm’. Referring to this incident, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said in a press conference held in Bilaigarh today, during the Bhent-Mulaqat programme, Chetan Bai of Sarsinwa, had told that she had taken 32 decimals of land availing the benefits of loan waiver and Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He added that it is a matter of happiness that people in rural areas are getting benefits from government schemes.
It is worth mentioning that during her interaction with the Chief Minister at the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ programme organized at Sarsinwa village of Bilaigarh assembly constituency on Tuesday, Chetan Bai Mahilalang said that this government has focussed on people of all ages from young children to the elderly. She said that her loan of Rs 1.56 lakh has been waived off and she has received an amount of Rs 3.42 lakh under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. “I have purchased 32 decimals of land with my savings and using the amount received under the scheme and named it as “Mukhyamantri Bahra” (farm)”, she said.
Chief Minister said that it gives me immense happiness to see that the government schemes are proving to be successful in bringing a positive change in the lives of people. Some are buying a motorcycle or a car, some are building a house, and some are using the money received from the schemes to provide quality education to their children. He appealed to people to take maximum advantage of the public welfare schemes being run by the Chhattisgarh government.
