Raipur (thestates.news)| Chhattisgarh has received the “Excellent Award” from the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, for its successful implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, a crop insurance scheme. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel and Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey congratulated the officers and employees of the Agriculture Department for this achievement. It is worth mentioning that Chhattisgarh is among the top-performing states in the country when it comes to the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.
During the 9th National Review Workshop held on Friday in Raipur, organized by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, the Agriculture Production Commissioner of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Kamal Preet Singh, was presented with the “Excellent Award” along with a citation by Shri Manoj Ahuja, the Secretary to the Government of India.
