Raipur (thestates.news) | Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency, an agency of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh, has invited applications for the empanelment of State Quality Monitors under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). For this, applications have been invited from retired Civil Engineers from the post of Executive Engineer or equivalent post in any Government Institution, Public Sector Undertaking of Central or State Government or their subordinate offices. Serving and retired faculty members of Government engineering colleges/ IITs/NITs/ Government research institutes who have worked or consulted in the field of road construction or associated with bridge design, supervision and consultancy work can also apply. Besides, the candidate should be a Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
For inspection of road construction works, such candidates with government service are suitable who have experience of road construction for at least five years out of the last ten years before their retirement. Whereas for bridge inspection, candidates with eight years’ experience in planning, designing or implementing bridge construction are required who have at least four years’ experience in implementation of bridge project. Candidates having aforementioned professional qualification and field experience for road and bridge inspection can apply for both the jobs.
The applicant should not be guilty of any kind of corruption. Candidates who can work on computer and smart phone or willing to learn them in stipulated time can apply for this post. Applicants have also been asked to attach documents related to field experiences with the application.
Eligibility conditions for empanelment, duty of state quality monitors and application form can be obtained on the website www.pmgsy.nic.in under DO and SQM selection and performance evaluation. Applicants willing to work as State Quality Monitors can send their application in the prescribed format to the Chief Executive Officer, Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency, Vikas Bhawan, Civil Lines, Raipur, by March 28, 2022. The agency has not allowed applications from officers empanelled as National Quality Monitors in NRIDA and State Quality Monitors in other states and those who are completing 70 years of age as on March 28, 2022.
