Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha inspects the Chhattisgarh State Legal Services Authority office

Chief Justice directed the officials to complete the construction work of the extension building of District and Sessions Court Bilaspur within the stipulated time

Raipur (thestates.news) | The Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court and Patron-in-Chief of the State Legal Services Authority (SLSA), Mr. Ramesh Sinha, inspected the office and all chambers of the SLSA in Bilaspur on Sunday. He expressed his satisfaction with the office’s cleanliness and infrastructure. Mr. Sinha also issued directives to Mr. Anand Prakash Wariyal, Member Secretary of the State Legal Services Authority in Bilaspur, emphasising the importance of maintaining the current standards going forward.

The Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Mr. Ramesh Sinha, extended his inspection to the ongoing construction of the extension building at the District and Sessions Court in Bilaspur, in the presence of Public Works Department (PWD) officials. He emphasised the importance of maintaining construction quality and instructed Bilaspur District and Sessions Judge, Mr. Ramashankar Prasad, to personally oversee the project’s progress and ensure it meets the stipulated deadlines. Furthermore, he conducted meeting with judicial officers and directed them to expedite the disposal of long-standing cases and the cases related to the Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The first day of the Swachhta Pakhwada initiative at the Bilaspur District and Sessions Court witnessed active participation from judicial officers, employees, and members of the Advocates Association, who engaged in Shramdaan.

Registrar General Mr. Arvind Kumar Verma, Additional Registrar (Administration) Mr. Awadh Kishore, Additional Registrar cum PPS Mr. M.V.L.N. Subrahamanyam, and Protocol Officer Mr. R.S. Negi were present.
