Chief Minister did virtual Bhumipujan of an ultramodern state-level cancer institute to be built in Bilaspur

Raipur (thestates.news) | In a virtual programme held at his residence office today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel performed bhumipujan of an ultramodern State Cancer Institute to be built in Bilaspur at the cost of Rs 120 crore. On the occasion, Chief Minister said that this State Cancer Institute will be equipped with ultramodern medical equipment and medical facilities to treat all kinds of Cancer, and its construction will be complete within next one year. At this State Cancer Institute to be built in Bilaspur, cancer patients in and around Chhattisgarh would be able to avail good facilities for cancer treatment. The institute will have facilities for treatment of all kinds of cancer under one roof, along with state-of-the-art cancer ward with 100 bed capacity and a state-of-the-art ICU ward with 20 bed capacity. Health Minister T.S. Singhdeo, Minister in-charge of Revenue and Bilaspur Jaisingh Agarwal, Parliamentary Secretary Rashmi Ashish Singh, MP Arun Sao, MLA Krishnamurti Bandhi, District Panchayat President Bilaspur Arun Singh Chouhan also joined the program virtually. MLA Shailesh Pandey and Chairman of State Civil Supplies Corporation Ram Gopal Agarwal, Principal Secretary Health Dr. Maninder Kaur Dwivedi, Director Medical Education Dr. Vishnu Dutt were present at Chief Minister’s residence.
