Raipur (thestates.news)| Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of the state on ‘Buddha Purnima’, which is to be observed on May 5, 2023. In his message of felicitations, he said Mahatma Buddha gave the message of non-violence, equality, and universal brotherhood. His teachings were adopted by people all over the world, and lakhs of his followers are spreading the message of ‘ahimsa'(non-violence) and equality. His teachings are assumed to have greater relevance even today when the world is facing a rise in intolerance, violence, and terrorism. He preached that people should move forward with self-control. Mahatma Buddha’s thoughts and life values will always be a guide for building a better society and nation.
