Chief Minister pays homage to the country’s first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on his birth anniversary.

Raipur (thestates.news)|  Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to the Indian freedom fighter and country’s first education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on his birth anniversary. Remembering the contribution of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Shri Baghel said that Maulana Abul Kalam Azad ji has made a significant and invaluable contribution for the improvement of the Indian education system by the establishment of numerous schools, colleges, universities in independent India. It is worth mentioning that In his memory and honour, his birthday 11 November is celebrated as National Education Day.

Shri Baghel has said that the state government is strengthening Chhattisgarh’s  education system  by following the footsteps of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad ji. Swami Atmanand Schools have been established to provide quality education to the children. Numerous children from poor and remote areas are now getting educational opportunities and resources and English medium schools in many cities. In real sense,by strengthening the education system ,it is a true tribute to the first education minister of the country.
