Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha held at Ashoka Palm Meadows Colony, Dunda, Raipur, today. On this auspicious occasion, he prayed to Lord Shri Krishna and Shri Radha Rani for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of all the people of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Shri Sai paid homage to the Vyaspeeth, received blessings from Katha Vyas Pandit Shri Krishna Gaur Shastri, and listened to the divine narration of the Shri Krishna-Sudama episode.
Welcoming Katha Vyas Pandit Shri Krishna Gaur Shastri to the sacred land of Mata Kaushalya, Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed his gratitude, stating that listening to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is a divine fortune. He said, “This sacred scripture not only provides spiritual peace but also inspires us to walk the path of righteousness, love, and duty. I hope that all devotees will imbibe the divine message of this Katha and incorporate it into their lives. May Lord Shri Krishna bless us with the strength to serve the people of Chhattisgarh with full dedication and sincerity.”
Chhattisgarh – The Land of Lord Shri Ram’s Exile, Special Arrangements for Devotees at the Mahakumbh
Highlighting Chhattisgarh’s spiritual significance, Chief Minister Shri Sai mentioned that a significant portion of Lord Shri Ram’s exile period was spent in Chhattisgarh. He informed that the “Shri Ram Lala Darshan Yojana” initiated by the Chhattisgarh government has already enabled over 20,000 devotees to visit Ayodhya Dham for the divine darshan of Lord Shri Ramlala.
Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized the historical significance of the Mahakumbh currently being held in Prayagraj, stating that this auspicious occasion has arrived after 144 years, and the Chhattisgarh government has made special arrangements for devotees by setting up a ‘Chhattisgarh Pavilion’ at the Mahakumbh. This pavilion offers free accommodation, meals, and other facilities, ensuring a smooth and sacred experience for pilgrims from Chhattisgarh participating in the ritualistic bathing, darshan, and religious ceremonies.
Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated the organizers of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and acknowledged their efforts, stating that such spiritual events spread positive energy and awaken religious consciousness in society.
The event was graced by the presence of Shri Bhupendra Sawanni, Shri Rajiv Agrawal, Shri Saral Modi, along with the organizers of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, prominent local dignitaries, and a large number of devotees.
