As we do every year on the occasion of Pora Tihar, we have invited our sisters to CM House, and we are happy that they have accepted our invitation graciously. Chief Minister extended warm greetings of Teeja Pora Tihar to everyone.

When guests visit Chhattisgarh, they leave with a transformed perception about women. Women of Chhattisgarh are socially aware and they actively participate in various kinds of activities. If you observe the schemes being being run in the state, you will find that these schemes have been formulated with women empowerment being the main objective. Chhattisgarh Government has transferred approximately Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand crore directly into the accounts of the people of the state through schemes like Kisan Nyay Yojana, Labour Welfare Scheme, Godhan NYAY Yojana.

He said that on the occasion of Teeja, it is believed that it rains when women go to their parents’ homes. You can see that it has been raining well for the last two-three days. In the last 5 years, we the people of Chhattisgarh have not faced any famine.
Chief Minister said that we have recently declared that those guilty of committing crimes against women will not be given government jobs.

Chief Minister stated that in a first for Chhattisgarh, government-run English medium schools have commenced, providing children from economically disadvantaged families the opportunity to receive an English-medium education. We are consistently working towards ensuring financial prosperity for everyone. Today, women are not just managing their households but also taking the lead in various other important initiatives. Women actively participate in search operations, and an efficient troupe is in place to carry out this task.
