CM Bhupesh Baghel Writes Letter to PM Narendra Modi, Expresses Concern Over Irregular Train Services and Passenger Fare

Raipur ( | Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the difficulties faced by the public because of problems like irregular running of trains, their cancellation at any time, and charging of fares for express trains even from the passengers of passenger trains. The Chief Minister has written in the letter that the Railway Administration has been taking action to cancel many long-distance trains and local passenger trains passing through the state of Chhattisgarh for a long time without any prior notice or valid reason. Due to excessive delays in the remaining trains, lakhs of train passengers in the state are angry and dissatisfied. Despite several requests to the Railway Administration and the Central Government, the situation is not improving. The public is extremely agitated due to the indifference of the Central Government on this matter of widespread public interest.
