Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar,(thestates.news)| Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will conduct the official flag-hoisting ceremony on September 17 at the memorial pillar in Siddharth Garden of Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar Municipal Corporation on the occasion of Marathwada Liberation Day, according to the official press statement issued last night by the Divisional Commissioner’s office.
The programme, starting at 8.45 am, will include tributes to Marathwada Liberation War martyrs, a police salute, floral garlands at the monument, and a salutation by the police band team before flag hoisting. After the flag hoisting programme, Shinde will meet the invitees and visit the picture exhibition.
The administration has requested that government and semi-government institutions hold their flag hoisting program either half an hour before or half an hour after the main government programme.
