CM Employment Generation Program is creating plethora of employment opportunities

Nohar has become financially independent by opening a Herbal Shop

Raipur (thestates.news) |Efforts and initiatives of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has not only created plethora of employment opportunities through Chief Minister Employment Generation Program (Mukhyamantri Rozgar Srijan Karyakram), but has also empowered the young generation to start businesses of their own. Large number of youth are taking advantage of this program to follow their passion and start a business. State Government is providing loan at subsidized rate under the scheme.

Nohar Chakradhari, a resident of Khemda village of Bagbahara development block of Mahasamund district, learned herbal marketing after completing his 12th standard. He desired to open his own herbal shop, but he had no resources. Looking for information and support of some kind, Nohar Chakradhari went to the bank, where the bank manager informed him about Chhattisgarh Gramodyog Department, and the loans provided with 35 percent grant amount under Chief Minister Employment Generation Program. He then contacted an officer of the department and applied for the loan. The department forwarded the application to the bank. After the application was examined by the branch manager, a loan of Rs two lakhs was approved, with which Nohar Chakradhari opened his herbal shop.

Nohar says that Chief Minister Employment Generation Program has proven to be a milestone in his journey to self-employment and financial independence. Nohar told that he had opened his herbal shop in the year 2022, and the steady income from this shop has made him financially stronger. “I earn 15 to 20 thousand rupees from herbal shop and I am paying the installments towards the loan regularly. Owning a shop is like a dream come true for me. I am thankful to Chief Minister for his schemes, programs and initiatives that have helped me to become self-employed”, said Nohar.
