Raipur (thestates.news) | On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of the state on this auspicious day. Mr. Baghel has said that Lord Mahavir emphasized on inner purity along with outer cleanliness. He taught to purify the mind beyond anger, pride, delusion and greed. He has described non-violence above all religions. Mahavir Swami gave the message of truth, non-violence, love and compassion to the society. Mr Baghel has said that the principles and teachings of Lord Mahavir are relevant even today. He taught people to ‘live and let live’. Let everyone follow the path shown by Mahavir Swamiji and come forward to help the poor and needy people.
