Chief Minister’s sensitive response brings major relief to a worried father at today’s Jan Darshan
Raipur (thestates.news) | At the Jandarshan program held today, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai received an application from Mr. Roshan Sahu, a resident of Raman Mandir Ward in Gudhiyari, Raipur, regarding his son’s medical treatment. Mr. Sahu informed the Chief Minister that his 8-year-old son, Lakshya, is suffering from Bladder Exstrophy.
After attentively listening to Mr. Sahu’s concerns, Chief Minister handed over a cheque of Rs 25,000 as financial aid for Lakshya’s treatment. He directed the health department officials to monitor Lakshya’s condition closely and ensure proper arrangements for his treatment. Additionally, he instructed them to address any challenges that may arise during the process.
Mr. Roshan Sahu explained that he had learned about free treatment for this condition being offered by the Australia Foundation at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. However, upon visiting, he was informed that they would need to travel regularly to Ahmedabad for the treatment. Mr. Sahu shared that due to his financial constraints, it has been difficult for him to bear the cost of frequent travel to Ahmedabad. It was with this concern that he approached the Chief Minister during Jandarshan. Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Roshan Sahu said, “I had been struggling with my son’s long-term treatment and had lost hope. Meeting the Chief Minister today has given me a new hope.”
