Instructions given to officials for better treatment of the injured
Bhopal (thestates.news): Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan instructed the officials to provide all possible help to the people affected by the accident immediately upon receiving the news of the bus accident in Sidhi district during his stay in Satna district. He decided to reach the spot at night itself. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inspected the incident site and inquired about the condition of the injured people undergoing treatment in Rewa. CM said that this accident is heart wrenching. Instructions have also been given to provide financial assistance to the family members of the deceased in the accident and to provide free treatment to the injured. CM Shri Chouhan inquired about the loss of life and rescue efforts due to collision of a truck with parked buses in Sidhi district late night. CM Shri Chouhan learned about the details of the accident from administrative officials, citizens and eyewitnesses of the incident.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan met the injured citizens of the accident treated at Rewa Medical College Hospital. The CM also discussed with doctors and officials. Apart from Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, other public representatives and senior administrative officials also received information about the accident. Former Minister Shri Rajendra Prasad Shukla, Member of Parliament Sushri Riti Pathak and other public representatives reached the spot and the hospital and inquired about the health of the injured and remained active for their co-operation.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reached the hospital late at night
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan went to the hospital in Rewa late night to inquire about the health of the injured and instructed the doctors to provide the best treatment to the injured. Administrative officers were present. Along with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, Member of Parliament Shri Vishnu Dutt Sharma also met the injured and inquired about their health. After learning about the condition of the citizens injured in the accident, he said in a meeting with the doctors and public representatives that if necessary, arrangements would be made to send the injured out of Rewa for treatment. CM Shri Chouhan instructed the doctors to continuously apprise him about the health of the injured. The CM also thanked all concerned for working with promptness late in the night to help the injured.
CM Shri Chouhan said that the families of the deceased in the accident in Sidhi district will be given an assistance of Rs.10 lakh each. In addition to the treatment arrangements, an amount of Rs. 2 lakh will be given to the seriously injured and an amount of Rs. one lakh will be given for the ordinary injured. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that if the seriously injured need to be sent outside Rewa for better treatment, arrangements will also be made to take them by airlifting.
