CM Vishnu Deo Sai flags off ‘Ram Rath’

Sends his warm wishes to Ayodhya through a handwritten ‘Jai Shri Ram’ letter

Raipur ( | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, on Friday, ceremoniously flagged off the ‘Ram Rath’ at the State Guest House Pahuna. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma joined in the event as well. Both Chief Minister Shri Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma extended their wishes with handwritten ‘Jai Shri Ram’ messages in letters, which were placed in the Rath destined for Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Lala. They wished for a happy and prosperous life for the people of the state. The students of Raipur Convent School also contributed by placing their messages in the drop box.

Chhattisgarhi film director Shri Manoj Rajput, along with Dr Om Makhija and Shri Prem Dewangan, also graced the occasion with their presence.

Meanwhile, the ‘Ek Chithi Siyaram Ke Naam’ campaign is being conducted by the 94.3 My FM radio channel. As part of this initiative, the ‘Ram Rath’ will traverse the state, collecting written messages in the form of letters from residents expressing their wishes. These messages will be presented to Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya, and in return, the Rath will bring back soil and prasad from Ayodhya as blessings for the devotees.
