Mitanin Dasani Bai from the Baiga tribe is delivering health services to the people
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the inauguration of the online incentive payment system at the ‘Nava Saugat’ program organised for the state’s Mitanins on July 12. After the program, which involved the distribution of incentive amounts to Mitanins in Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai had lunch with the Mitanins.
Chief Minister Shri Sai dined with Jaymani Nag from Darbha in Bastar and Dasani Bai, a Baiga tribal from Kawardha. The meal included dishes such as ‘dahi mirchi’, ‘lai badi’, ‘bijauri’, ‘rice papad’, chana, laal bhaji, jimikanda, munga, edhar kadi, bharva karela, rice, kodo rice, roti, and sweets, along with fruit salad.
He interacted warmly with Jaymani Nag and Dasani Bai, inquiring about their well-being and informing them that they would now receive their incentive amounts directly in their bank accounts every month. While conversing with Jaymani Nag, the Chief Minister mentioned that although he had visited Bastar several times, he had never had the chance to taste ‘chapda chutney’. Jaymani Nag invited him to try the tangy-spicy ‘chapda chutney’ on his next visit to Bastar.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, MLA Shri Anuj Sharma, MLA Shri Guru Khushwant Sahab, and Principal Secretary of the Health Department Shri Manoj Kumar Pingua also joined the Mitanins for the meal
