Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the National Kannaujiya Sonar Mahaparivar Event at Shyam Palace in Jashpur today. During the event, he announced financial assistance of ₹25 lakh for the construction of a community building for the Sonar community. He also felicitated meritorious students who excelled in Class 10 and 12 examinations and those who cleared IIT and medical entrance exams by presenting them with mementos and certificates of appreciation.
Praises Sonar Community for Social Initiatives
In his address, CM Sai lauded the Sonar community for its commendable contributions to social welfare. He specifically appreciated initiatives like free cataract surgery camps, financial aid for underprivileged girls’ weddings, blood donation drives, and tree plantation programs. He emphasized that such efforts are inspirational and contribute to positive societal transformation.
