Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid floral tributes to the portrait of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, on his death anniversary today at the State Guest House Pahuna. Takhatpur MLA Shri Dharamjeet Singh was also present.

Paying tribute to real heroes like Mahatma Gandhi, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the debt owed to our fallen heroes, who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation, is immeasurable. He praised Gandhi’s unparalleled contribution to India’s independence, stating, “Gandhiji showed the whole world how a big goal can be achieved by sticking to the path of truth and non-violence.” He further highlighted the continued relevance of Gandhi’s thoughts and philosophy in addressing contemporary challenges and emphasized their role in shaping a new and self-reliant India. Shri Sai urged everyone to pledge allegiance to Gandhiji’s teachings of truth and non-violence and contribute to the nation’s development, saying, “This would be a true tribute to Gandhiji.”
