CM Vishnu Deo Sai unveils new logo of Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board

Housing Board’s expanded role in infrastructure development will accelerate Chhattisgarh’s growth: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday unveiled the new logo of the Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board at the Circuit House in Nava Raipur, stating the board, once focused only on housing construction, will now play a wider role in infrastructure development to support the state’s growth.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Sai said every family dreams of owning a permanent home and the state government is  committed to fulfilling that aspiration. He said the board’s expanded mandate would strengthen infrastructure development across the state.

Highlighting the board’s performance, Chief Minister said it had overcome financial challenges over the past two years by selling 7,388 properties and generating revenue of ₹ 1,532 crore. He congratulated the Housing and Environment Department, the board’s chairman and its entire team for the achievement.

Shri Sai said the government has moved swiftly to fulfil its commitments, with more than 10.5 lakh houses completed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and nearly 1,600 new houses being completed every day. He added that special housing initiatives are also being implemented for surrendered Naxalites and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups.
