Event to be organized at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya’s Krishi Madapam premises
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will distribute Rs 49.43 crore to over 57,000 registered workers and their family members through centralized Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) on occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti on Tuesday. The event will be organized at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya’s Krishi Madapam premises in Jora Raipur.
In this regard, State’s Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Sai, several welfare schemes are being implemented for the benefit of workers in the state. These schemes are directly benefiting the workers and their family members.
Explaining allocation of funds, Officials from the Labor Department informed that under the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, a fund of Rs 38.37 crore will be distributed to 47,726 construction workers.
Under the Chhattisgarh Unorganized Workers State Social Security Board, a fund of Rs 9.86 crore will be distributed to 6,873 workers. Additionally, under the Chhattisgarh Labor Welfare Board, Rs 1.19 crore will be distributed to 2,496 workers through DBT. In total, Rs 49.43 crore will be distributed to 57,095 workers through centralized DBT.
