New Delhi,(thestates.news) : The prices of crude oil have reached close to $ 121 per barrel in the international market following which Petrol and diesel prices are expected to rise. However, the public sector oil marketing companies have not made any change in the price of both the fuels. Petrol in the capital Delhi remained at Rs 96.72 per litre and diesel at Rs 89.62 per litre on Wednesday. According to the Indian Oil website, the price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 109.27 per litre and the price of diesel is Rs 95.84 per litre. At the same time, petrol is priced Rs 106.03 per litre in Kolkata, while diesel is Rs 92.76 per litre. Similarly, the price of petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 per litre and the price of diesel is Rs 94.24 per litre.
Apart from this, petrol is Rs 96.79 per litre and diesel is Rs 89.96 per litre in Noida, while petrol in Lucknow is Rs 96.57 per litre and diesel is Rs 89.76 per litre. Similarly, in Patna, petrol is being sold at Rs 107.24 per litre and diesel at Rs 94.04 per litre, while in Port Blair petrol is Rs 84.10 and diesel is Rs 79.74 per litre. It is noteworthy that the trend of fluctuations in the price of crude oil in the international market continues. Brent crude is trading at $ 120.94 per barrel in early trade on the second day of the week, while WTI crude is also trading at $ 119.87 per barrel.(H.S.)
