New Delhi(thestates.news)| : Delhi High Court will hear today the petition filed against the order to transfer the bail plea of Delhi government minister Satyendar Jain to another court in the money laundering case. Jain has challenged the decision of Principal District and Sessions Judge Vinay Kumar of Rouse Avenue Court to transfer the bail plea to another court. On September 24, Principal District and Sessions Judge Vinay Kumar ordered the transfer of Satyendra Jain’s bail plea to another court. The Principal District and Sessions Judge of Rouse Avenue Court sent the bail plea of Satyendra Jain to Vikas Dhul for hearing.
Following the Supreme Court order, Rouse Avenue Court’s Principal District and Sessions Judge Vinay Kumar heard the ED’s plea on September 22. The ED had sought transfer of the trial of the money laundering case against Satyendra Jain from the court of Special Judge Geetanjali Goel to another court. The ED had said that Satyendra Jain got admitted to the hospital on a false pretext of his illness. The ED told the court of Special Judge Geetanjali Goel that Satyendra Jain is an influential person and he is the Health Minister of the Delhi government. There is every possibility that he might get fake documents of his illness, but the court of Geetanjali Goyal ignored this apprehension.(HS)
