Shri Sao to Participate in Asian Development Bank’s Workshop, Review Road Projects and Study Road Construction Technologies
Raipur (thestates.news) | Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Shri Arun Sao departed late Monday night for a nine-day study tour to the United States at the invitation of the Asian Development Bank. Accompanying him on this visit is the Secretary of the Public Works Department, Dr. Kamalpreet Singh. Both officials left for the U.S. on the New Delhi-New York flight, which took off at 11:30 p.m. on Monday. As per the local time in the United States, they are expected to arrive in New York at 6:20 a.m. on Tuesday.
During his stay in the United States, Shri Arun Sao will visit road projects in New York, Washington, California, and San Francisco, gaining insights into road construction techniques. He will also participate in a workshop-cum-training session organized by the Asian Development Bank. The Deputy Chief Minister is expected to engage in discussions regarding advanced road projects and high-quality road construction, with a focus on implementing such techniques in Chhattisgarh. Shri Sao will return to India on 18th September.
