ED said Manish Sisodia destroyed his phones while five of them are in agency’s custody, claims AAP

New Delhi(thestates.news)|, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday claimed that the Enforcement Directorate said that former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia destroyed his phones while five of them are in ED’s custody. The party alleged that the whole matter was fabricated. Addressing a press conference here, AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh alleged “The false allegations fabricated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against Sisodia and revealed that the 14 phones that the ED had alleged were destroyed by Sisodia, were still active, with five of them in the ED’s custody itself.”

Singh accused the ED and BJP of manipulating facts to mislead the court and the public to prevent the granting of Manish Sisodia’s bail plea. He said, “The ED’s investigation is nothing but a web of deceit and falsehood.” He said that many of the IMEI numbers that the ED had earlier claimed were destroyed by Sisodia, were mentioned in ED’s own seizure report. Singh accused the ED of fabricating their investigation and spreading lies.(UNI)
