Efforts are being made to make Chhattisgarh a prosperous state and boost the income of people: Chief Minister Shri Baghel

Raipur (thestates.news)| Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel attended ‘Shikhar Samman’ programme organized by ‘Bharat-24’ news channel at a private hotel here late on Monday. On the occasion, he felicitated people who have done remarkable work in various sectors.  During a discussion, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that every possible initiative is being taken by the state government to make Chhattisgarh a prosperous and strong state. Our prime focus is to boost the income of people belonging to every section of society. For this, public welfare schemes including the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana for farmers, Godhan Nyaya Yojana for cattle rearers, Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana for landless labourers and purchase of small forest produce on support price for tribal-forest dwellers, have been implemented in the state. As a result of the effective implementation of these schemes, people of all classes in the state are getting better opportunities to grow and move ahead.

He added that along with these, progress is being seen in every sector including education and health with the implementation schemes like Narva, Garva, Ghurva and Bari Yojana, Millet Mission, Atmanand Schools, Haat-Bazar Clinic etc. This has given a major boost to the employment and income of people. On this occasion, various renowned people were honoured for their remarkable work in various fields including Padmashri-Shri Anuj Sharma in the field of folk singing, Padmashri-Shri Bharti Bandhu in Kabir Bhajan singing and Padmashri-Shri Anup Ranjan Pandey in folk music (Bastar band).
