ENLIGHTENING GUEST LECTURE ORGANIZED BY DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY KALINGA UNIVERSITY ON THE TOPIC – “CARBON DIOXIDE: CAPTURE, STORAGE AND UTILIZATION”

Kalinga University continues its streak of appreciating academic interaction and organizing events for promoting the exchange of knowledge. On 12th of March 2022, at 11 am Faculty of Science, Kalinga University organized an online Guest Lecture for its students and staff. The Speaker on this auspicious occasion was Dr. Tungabidya Maharana who is an assistant professor of Chemistry in National Institute of Technology, Raipur(C.G). The event commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Shilpi Shrivastava, HOD, Chemistry & Applied Science Department, Kalinga University who was also serving as the Convener of the event. The welcome speech was followed by Dr. Shrivastava introducing the Guest Speaker to the attendees of the event after which the session was continued by Dr. Maharana who gave an extensive and thorough account of the topic and also diligently answered all the queries that were raised by the participants in the question-answer round.

The event was attended by students and other members of Kalinga University and was appreciated and praised by all participants. After the completion of the session, Dr. Shilpi Shrivastava concluded the event by delivering the Vote of Thanks.
