Sehore Madhya Pradesh’s Kavita Journey towards Economic Empowerment

Targeted support can also help beneficiaries turn their entrepreneurial aspirations into viable income-generating activities.
Smt Kavita Verma, a native resident of Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, aspired to establish a sustainable livelihood and contribute to the economic well-being of her family. Limited financial resources, however, posed a challenge in starting her own enterprise.
In 2024, under the NSFDC Refinance Scheme, Smt Verma received financial assistance of Rs. 3,42,000 through Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank, Sehore, Mandi Branch, to establish a Flour Mill (atta chakki).
With the financial assistance, Kavita successfully started her flour mill business. The enterprise created a sustainable source of income for her and helped strengthen the economic condition of her family.(S-PIB)
