Ghulam Nabi becomes ‘Azad’ from Congress

New Delhi,(thestates.news) : Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday resigned from primary membership of the party. He had been upset with the Congress high command for some time. He had also left the post of Jammu and Kashmir Congress Campaign Committee president some time ago. Azad is the head of the G-23 faction. Azad said, Indian National Congress has lost both the will and the capacity to fight for the right of India under the patronage of the AICC-run troupe. He said, before starting the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the leadership should have conducted the Congress Jodo exercise across the country. He added, it is with great regret and a very emotional heart that he has decided to break his half century old association with the Indian National Congress.(HS)
