Voluntary blood donation by staying healthy and alert

Raipur ( thestates.news)| Governor Anusuiya Uikey has appealed to the citizens of the state to donate blood in maximum numbers on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. The Governor has said in his message that blood donation is a holy act. Blood donation is considered to be the best of all donations as it can save one’s life. Sickle cell, anemia, thalassemia, women at the time of delivery, people who are seriously injured in an accident or when they are sick, then they can be supplied by donated blood. To meet the continuous requirement of blood in the blood banks, it is necessary to have sufficient quantity of blood. Governor Ms. Uike has said that healthy people can donate blood voluntarily on the advice of a doctor, following the safety norms. The Governor has said that following the guidelines issued for blood donation, people should donate more and more blood and save the life of the person in distress. Four lives can be saved by donating blood by one person.
