Mumbai (thestates.news) The newly appointed Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais garlanded the equestrian statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park in Mumbai on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti on Sunday (19th Feb).Governor Ramesh Bais later participated in the Shiv Jayanti celebrations organised by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) at Krida Bhavan and listened to the patriotic songs on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The musical programme was presented by the Sangeet Kala Academy of BMC. For the first time this year, the State song ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha’ was sung along with the National Anthem.MLA Sadanand Sarvankar, Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner I S Chahal, Chairman of the Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak Samiti Kisan Jadhav, Additional Municipal Commissioner P.
