Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan pays tribute to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Raipur (thestates.news) |Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan paid tribute to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary by garlanding his portrait at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The Governor, Biswabhusan Harichandan, said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a legendary leader who led the country on the path of development in every sector and a great statesman who is known all over the world.
Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan mentioned the contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in establishing India on the world stage and said that he raised the country’s prestige by strongly supporting India in foreign and international forums. After facing restrictions from Western countries, India established itself as a global power by conducting nuclear tests in Pokhran and achieving economic growth under his leadership.

Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan said that former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee had made an enormous impact on the infrastructure development in the country during his tenure by launching the ‘Golden Quadrilateral’ or ‘Swarna Chaturbhuj’, and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. His remarkable contribution towards providing clean drinking water and essential facilities in rural areas is truly commendable.
Secretary to Governor Shri Amrit Xalxo, Deputy Secretary Shri Deepak Agarwal, Legal Advisor Shri Rajesh Srivastava, and other officers of Raj Bhavan also paid floral tribute to the late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
