Interacts with Beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana and Other Welfare Schemes

Raipur (thestates.news) | Under the third phase of Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai landed today in Dokra village of his home district Jashpur to review the implementation of various government schemes. At the Samadhan Shivir (Grievance Redressal Camp), he examined the actions taken on public petitions and directly interacted with beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and other welfare schemes to ascertain ground realities.

Addressing the public gathering, the Chief Minister declared, “I am the son of your village, your home. It is my privilege to have become the Chief Minister with your blessings. Leading the state on the path of development is my pledge.”

He reiterated that his government, formed with the people’s blessings, has been steadfastly working towards development over the past one and a half years. “In our very first cabinet meeting, we sanctioned 18 lakh houses under PMAY. The construction of houses is progressing continuously. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, 3 lakh beneficiaries were granted house possession in Bilaspur, and Union Minister for Panchayati Raj Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan did the same for 51,000 beneficiaries in Ambikapur.”

Assuring the public, the Chief Minister added, “No one whose house is not yet concrete should worry. Every eligible person listed under SECC and Awas Plus surveys will receive housing. The Prime Minister has made a substantial provision in the budget for PMAY this year.”

Highlighting the fulfilment of promises made to farmers, he said, “We procured paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal and purchased up to 21 quintals per acre. Additionally, we disbursed pending bonuses for the last two years and have begun providing financial assistance to landless agricultural labourers.” He also highlighted the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, under which women are receiving Rs 1,000 per month, bolstering both financial security and women’s empowerment.

Speaking of forest produce workers, he noted, “The standard remuneration for tendupatta collectors has been increased from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,500 per standard bag.” Furthermore, under the Ramlala Darshan Yojana, arrangements have been made for pilgrims to visit Ayodhya. Now, the newly launched Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana will enable citizens above 60 years of age to undertake free pilgrimages to prominent religious sites across the country.

Administrative Reforms and Digital Services for Rural Areas

Chief Minister Shri Sai elaborated on the streamlining of land registry and mutation processes. “Now, mutation will be carried out automatically along with property registration—people will no longer need to approach different officials,” he stated.

He announced the expansion of banking and digital services to rural areas through Atal Digital Seva Kendras, ensuring that villagers, especially farmers, no longer have to travel to urban centres. “On 24 April, Atal Digital Seva Kendras were launched in 1,460 Gram Panchayats, and I have personally seen the positive impact of this service,” he added.

A Symbol of Good Governance

Mrs. Gomti Sai, MLA from Pathalgaon and Vice-Chairperson of the Sarguja Development Authority, praised the initiative, describing it as “a testament to good governance under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.” She added that the government is reaching every household, listening to rural grievances, and ensuring that central and state schemes reach those in need.

Collector Shri Rohit Vyas provided a detailed report on the outcomes of Sushasan Tihar, stating that out of the 1.32 lakh applications received, over 1.28 lakh have already been resolved. In Jashpur alone, camps were conducted in 54 clusters with a resolution rate of 97%. Of the 3,258 applications received at the Dokra Samadhan Shivir, the majority have been successfully addressed.

Reviewing Ground Realities and Directing Timely Corrections

Chief Minister affirmed, “We are fulfilling the guarantees made by Prime Minister Modi Ji. I am personally reviewing the on-ground implementation of each scheme. Dokra marks the 21st district I have visited. Along with ministers, MPs, MLAs, the Chief Secretary, and senior officers, we are all visiting these grievance redressal camps.”

He emphasized that he is making surprise visits to the remotest parts of the state. “Sitting under trees, I conduct chaupals to hear people’s issues. Wherever there are deficiencies, I take note and instruct officials to resolve them without delay,” he stated.

New Announcements for Dokra: College, PHC Upgradation, Mini Stadium, and More

Declaring Dokra his “own village,” the Chief Minister expressed deep gratitude to its people, noting that they had elected him to the Lok Sabha four times. He recalled fulfilling a longstanding demand for a bridge over the Maini River and assured that all new demands would be met.

Further announcements included the renovation of the ancient Shiva temple campus, beautification of the Doriyamuda pond, sanctioning Rs 20 lakh for the restoration of the old community hall and construction of a mini-stadium to promote sports among local youth.
