IAF chief visits NCC Republic Day Camp

New Delhi (thestates.news)| Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Wednesday said that the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day Camp gives the cadets an opportunity to interact amongst all from different cultures, religions and regions and thus strengthens the ‘Unity in Diversity’ spirit of India.

The IAF chief visited the NCC Republic Day Camp 2025 at Delhi Cantt here and lauded the cadets for their outstanding and engaging performance in the event, an official statement said. He threw light upon the values being ingrained in the cadets during their training such as discipline, selfless service, nation building, code of conduct and also encouraged cadets to hold on to these values forever in their lives.

He motivated the cadets to stand by the NCC motto of ‘Unity and Discipline’ and the pledge in all walks of life whether in uniform or not. The CAS also visited the ‘Hall of Fame’ and was briefed about the history, training and achievements of NCC. Later, he accompanied by other guests, witnessed a cultural programme performed by the cadets from different Directorates. Meanwhile, the Chief of Air Staff and Director General NCC Gurbirpal Singh hosted a reception for the officers of NCC and the cadets at Air House here.

Interacting with the media, the cadets said that the RDC had given them lots of opportunities including meeting people from across the country. They said that NCC life is very exciting and they also urged others students and youth to join the NCC and also be a part of the RD Camp.(UNI)
