Raipur (thestates.news) Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has greeted people of the state on the occasion of International Day of Forests. In his message released today, Chief Minister said that International Day of Forests is observed every yearr on March 21 to create mass awareness regarding the cause of saving forests and jungles for environment conservation. Many animals, insects and moths are interdependent on the forest. Forests are the source of various food and other useful materials, besides the life force i.e. the vital oxygen on earth. We are seeing the effect of increasing population and changing lifestyle in the form of shrinking forest and polluted environment. Chief Minister has appealed people of the state to save trees and forests for environment conservation.
