Raipur (The States. news) The Women and Child Development Department will organize a three-day long state-level ‘Mahila Madai’ from March 05 to 08 at BTI Ground, Shankar Nagar in Raipur. The Madai will be inaugurated by Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhediya on March 5 at 6 pm. An exhibition-cum sale of the products prepared by the women Self-Help Groups of will be organized at the venue. Visitors here will get a glimpse of initiatives for women empowerment and how women of the state are becoming self-reliant.
A state-level women’s conference will be organized on March 07 at BTI Ground. A women cycle-rally will be held at 7 am on March 08. This rally will reach Bhagat Singh Chowk via Shankar Nagar passing through Canal Link Road and will end at BTI Ground (Shankar Nagar).
