MoU signed with Chhattisgarh government, investment of Rs 2119 crore
• Availability of market leading cement in the name of Jindal Panther

Raipur(thestates.news)| To accelerate the progress of the nation, Jindal Panther Cement will set up a cement plant in Raigad district of Chhattisgarh. On behalf of the government the MoU was signed by Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua, Principal Secretary, Commerce and Industry and Mr. Pradeep Tandon, President, on behalf of Jindal Panther Cement Pvt Ltd.With this Cement production will become a primary addition to the services of Steel , Power, Minning ,etc
This decision to set up a cement plant led by eminent industrialist Mr. Naveen Jindal will increase the availability of the leading cement brand in the market, popularly known as Jindal Panther. A target of producing 25 lakh tonnes of cement and 25 lakh tonnes of clinker per year has been set. According to the environmental requirements and the need of the hour, energy conservation has also been arranged in the plant by running this plant with 12 MW waste heat recovery system.The development of the nation will be accelerated according to the dreams of “Clean and Green India”. Establishment of cement plant is likely to generate thousands of employment opportunities directly and indirectly. Apart from this, another wind of development will flow in the area.
Shri Pradeep Tandon, President, Jindal Steel & Power informed that this cement plant will play an important role in building a self-reliant India, which is the result of the visionary thinking of Chairman Shri Naveen Jindal.
